Petrol prices falling to their lowest level since May, 2009 earlier this month.Good news for motorists was set to continue.
Petrol prices have plummeted since last year as global oil halved from more than $100 a barrel to less than $50.
AMP’s chief economist, Shane Oliver, said motorists filling up for 99.9¢ a litre would save about $20 a week.
